ComfortempThe Saucony ProGrid Paramount is the first shoe in the world to use the revolutionary Comfortemp climate control fabric
The Comfortemp lining in the upper of the Paramount running shoe is integrated with millions of mPCM micro capsules. As soon as the runner’s foot warms up to 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit) Comfortemp ensures that the body heat will be absorbed by the mPCM capsules before sweat is produced, creating a pleasant cooling effect. When the foot temperature drops again, the mPCM releases the stored heat back to the feet.
A supportive upper is vital in a running shoe, but it's often forgotten. There's no point having a midsole and outsole packed with technology to encourage your foot into a biomechanically efficient position if the upper is not strong enough to hold the foot securely to utilise the control.
