A beautiful undulating road run along England's most scenic valley.
The Langdale 10K St George's Day race in one of Lakeland's best loved road races. Suitable for all abilities, the route take you from the Stickle Barn at the head of the Langdale Vallley to Elterwater and back.
Being slightly undulating, most people will find the race challenging but not too hard, with a low key, friendly atmosphere, every one is made welcome by the race organisers Rod and Dorothy Berry.
Fun Run
For all ages, children especially welcome, the Family Fun run heads up the Valley to The Old Dungeon Ghyll and back. Starting 45 minutes before the main race parents can easily run with there children and return to complete the main race.
Entries are £3.00 and only payable on the day. All the finishers get an ice-cream or a medal.

Directions
From the A591 Windermere to Keswick road at Ambleside take the A593 turn to Coniston / Torver. After two miles take the B5343 to Great Langdale via Chapel Stile. Race Start in field to the front of the Inn.

Limit to 600 runners each day.

Online entries are charged at £11.00 for attached runners (member of an associated running club, club name must be supplied) or £13.00 for unattached (none club runners). Online entries are £1.00 more than postal entries to cover return Postage + Packaging costs

I am an amateur under the UKA rules. I am 15 years of age or above, and shall do everything to ensure the safety of myself, other competitors and other road, track or trail users during the race. I will not hold the organisers responsible for any injury sickness or loss as a result of my taking part.

Numbers can be transferred only on the day at the discretion of the official time Keeper. No later than 30 minutes before the race start.
Race run under the ARC Permitted races and by competing in this race you agree to abide by there rules and regulation
Q. Can more than one person apply at a time?
A. No. Each person must fill in all the information including the checkout information individually
Q. I am wanting to run but pay with my partners/parents/other persons credit card.
A. Fill in the information for yourself in the race details on the product page above. When in checkout stage (1) select 'deliver to another address'. Put the card holders details into the relevant box and put your details into the 'deliver to' information boxes.
Q. I can not run and I want to give my number to another runner
A. Only on the day of the race can you inform the race time keeper of any changes. This must be done 30 minutes before the race start times.
